Help out a fairly new knitter

These socks will only be my second pair ever made. I was wondering if someone could offer some tips because I have only made socks from the toe-up. Is there an easy way to change the pattern to knit them that way?

I'm dying to get start...

If you use a toe-up pattern and then work Sundara's lace pattern on the leg portion the lace pattern will be upside-down from what Sundara intended. That may or may be OK for you. To decide you could work a swatch that includes the lace pattern and then hold it upside-down and decide if you want that look on the leg of the sock.
There may be a way to rewrite the lace pattern to make it look like Sundara intended when done on a toe-up version but that is beyond my pattern writing skills. Maybe someone else can make a suggestion along those lines.

"Sue" did them/is doing them toe up. She posted a while back.
