Completed!!

Petals Collection: Lenten Rose - Monkey Socks
Hi All! I am happy to report that I have finished my Lenten Rose Socks!! (yes I know I was fast....I probably will not be as quick the next few times because I will have more projects in the hopper! Plus I knit a LOT during football games!) LOVED the yarn! LOVED the pattern (I used Monkey from Knitty.) Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do with leftover yarn?

I love them, too! Monkey is a parfect pattern for the yarn.

I generally use my leftovers for child socks but I've seen a pattern for a bookmark (about 20-25 stitches done to the length you want) or those itty-bitty ornaments or sock puppets??

I am going to try to use my extra sock yarn to make socks for my teddy bear (yeah, aawwww...) and to make little head bands for myself. I plan on doing a baby cable and then using my sewing machine to sew elastic at the ends and hide the elastic part at the nape of my neck. Whenever I figure that out I will post a pattern.
